Abstract(in English) | Recently, the hybrid MIMO scheme is studied to realize high-speed data transmission in practical wireless communication system. Next generation wireless LAN standard IEEE 802.11n aim for transmission rate more than 100Mbps. The MIMO system is studied as technology to realize it. The hybrid MIMO scheme is a mixture of the Spatial Division Multiplexing (SDM) and Space-Time-Block-Coding (STBC). The hybrid STBC design is found to be a good design choice based on bit error rate (BER) performance and data rate performance. In this paper, we propose a new receive diversity technique without a pseudo-inverse matrix for the channel matrix in hybrid MIMO system. Its BER performance is evaluated by computer simulation and compared to Alamouti STBC transmit diversity. |
