Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An image expansion system, generally uses a rectangular lattice. If the lattice is nonrectangular, rectangular interpolation method is not effective. In addition, two-dimensional filter needs the great hardware cost. Handling this problem, this report uses a two-dimensional separable filter. The two-dimensional is derived from an one-dimensional filter. Therefore, the two-dimensional filter can decrease the number of multiplier for two-dimensional filtering. Simulation results show the relationship between one-dimensional and two-dimentional filter, and hardware cost reduction.
