Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Millimeter-wave communication systems will be introduced to consumer market in the near future. Development of millimeter-wave monolithic integrated circuits (MMICs) is indispensable for realizing small, cost-effective communication equipments. This report reviews the present status of millimeter-wave MMICs based on the silicon RF CMOS as well as III-V compound semiconductors and addresses the issues for future improvement of MMIC characteristics.
