Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to realize multi-band / multi-mode transmitters based on software defined radio (SDR) technology, a combined configuration of broad-band and tunable microwave devices should be employed. In this paper, this combined configuration and the technical problems of each circuit blocks are discussed by referring with recent developments. The broad-band microwave devices have been developed for the Tx/Rx direct converters. The tunable devices based on MEMS technology have been focused for filters and power amplifiers and some attempts began to be reported.
