| 抄録(和) | PGR(Processor Generator for Reconfigurable systems)システムは, 粒子系シミュレーションに特化したFPGAベース計算エンジン(FPGA-Based Computing Engine : FBCE)用の設計ソフトウェアである.PGRシステムは個々のハードウェアに依存した部分をハードウェア抽象化層の中に隠蔽している.PGRシステムではハードウェア抽象化層を個々のハードウェアごとに別々のモジュールとして実装している.現在までに, PROGRAPE-3システム用モジュール, Cray-XD1システム用モジュールを実装した.本稿では, 新たにPXPDKSXGX40システム用のPGRモジュールを開発した.PXPDKSXGX40システムは, PCI-Expressインタフェースを利用可能なFBCEであり, PLD Applicationsの製品である.これまでのところ, PCI-Expressを利用したFBCEシステムの報告例は非常に少ない.本稿は, PCI-Expressインタフェースを用いたFBCEシステム上で実用的なアプリケーションを動作させることができた数少ない報告例である. |
| 抄録(英) | PGR(Processor Generator for Reconfigurable systems) is a software for developing FPGA-based computing engine(FBCE) specialized for particle-based simulations. In the PGR system, Components which depends on individual hardware platforms are hidden under the Hardware Abstraction Layer : HAL. PGR can supprt multiple hardware platform by converting the HAL modules which is specialized to individual platform. Heretofore in the PGR system we implemented HAL modules for the PROGRAPE-3 system and the Cray-XD1 system. In this paper, we have implemented new HAL module for the PXPDKSXGX40 system which is commercially available from PLD Applications, Inc. The PXPDKSXGX40 system is one of the earliest FBCE system that is implemented PCI-Express interface. This paper is novel report that an FBCE using PCI-Express interface can be implemented a practical application. |
