Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed a dynamically reconfigurable system, which uses an embedded processor FPGA. In this system, an embedded processor reconfigures a part of the FPGA on demand of application. Because conventional FPGA is not designed for reconfigurable system, there are some requirements that partial reconfiguration area is fixed by each configuration data. To satisfy these requirements, we develop a reconfiguration management mechanism for effective management of configuration data, hardware resource, and scheduling reconfiguration. This paper presents detail of the dynamically reconfigurable system and a reconfiguration management mechanism.
