Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the community services, such as Weblog services based on the web diary which are constructed by Movable Type and SNS(Social Networking Services) based on the bulletin board system have been widespread in the Internet. These systems are based on the server/client models. This paper presents the new community support system, YourServer, which can provide weblog services, photo album service, Web meeting and chat services, remote control and so on. As this system is constructed by using only number 80 port tunneling technology and utilized only HTTP protocol, its security is improved and users can use their client PCs safely as the community servers. The transfer characteristics and performances of the YourServer prototype system are measured and their operations are confirmed.
