Abstract(in English) In this paper, we will explain facilities for access control and behavior description in "UKARI-kernel" which is our middleware for user-oriented applications in home networks. It is important that service applications used in home network environment are flexible and agile enough to accommodate varying requirements over user to user. We are developing a middleware named UKARI-kernel as an infrastructure for function cooperation in the home network environment which is composed of various types of appliances such as household equipments, sensors and robots. This paper briefly introduces two basic facilities in UKARI-kernel : access control and scenario description with which we can easily and flexibly develop user-oriented services in the home network environment.
