Estimation of Proximity Distance between Aircraft at Crossing Routes Based on Radar Data

Abstract(in English) Collision risk model is applied when we estimate the aircraft collision risk. The risk estimate is far from the real risk even if the parameters are accurately set out, if the collision risk model is not valid. We examined the hypothesis of a model, which was applied at the collision risk assessment of London FIR, that the proximity distance between aircraft is uniformly distributed. We introduce the result of this examination in the present paper.
