Optical interconnection module of two-dimensional information using photorefractive crystal

Abstract(in English) An improvement of signal processing performance is expected by using optical parallelism. In this paper, we propose an optical interconnection module of two-dimensional information using photorefractive four-wave mixing and self-pumped phase conjugate mirror. The two-dimensional information inputted into this module is automatically distributed to the receiving node which generate request beam. It can also branch same information to two or more receiving nodes using self-pumped phase conjugate mirror. First, we present the basic experimental result on optical image branching by using two-wave mixing which is core of this module. Next, we investigate optimum intensity ratio of signal beam to request beam for high transmitted efficiency analytically and experimentally. In this end, we measure the reflection efficiency of self-pumped phase conjugate mirror respected with incident angle of request beam, and evaluate the number of receiving nodes.
