Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | To clarify the mechanism of interaction between surfactant and alcohol, we carried out ultrasonic absorption measurements in solution of alkyltrimethylammonium bromide (C_8TAB, C_<12>TAB) in mixed solvent of alcohol (2-propanol, ethanol) and water, using resonance and pulse methods. For aqueous solution involving both surfactants and alcohol, ultrasonic relaxation phenomena were observed, and the relaxation frequency decreased with increasing in concentration of surfactant. We consider these relaxation phenomena. |
