| Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we indicate services and the service requirement for the future personal mobile satellite communication through the analysis about vision of the future mobile satellite system. There are two categories for the future personal mobile satellite services which are considered as services where satellite is considered to have an advantage over terrestrial service delivery; terrestrial fill-in service and multimedia broadcast and multicast service; MBMS. For terrestrial fill-in service, mobile satellite system provides services and applications similar to those of terrestrial systems outsides for delivery of the same content to users spread over a wide geographic area provides MBMS with higher quality than that of satellite digital multimedia broadcast (S-DMB) service. Next, the service requirement about how services are provided by satellite system is made out for the development of satellite radio interface. The framework of the service requirement for the future personal mobile communication consists of the target service requirement and the service network requirement. When these requirements are drawn up, the service requirement for beyond 3G (B3G) and the characteristic of satellite are reflected. |
