Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the ITU-R released through the reference ITU-R P.1623 the new fade slope and fade duration models. As a contribution to the worldwide measurements and globally applicable models development, this paper evaluates and discusses the fade slope and fade duration derived from the received signal level collected in 4 close stations located in about 12km of diameter in kyushu island, Japan. From the obtained results, particular observations are made for the case of our region and some modifications of the ITU-R models are proposed.
