A Survey of Sensitivity of Handling Personal Information in Public Space

Abstract(in English) Technologies to ensure the complete security of information transfers are being developed, but risks remain when people enter highly confidential information like personal data into systems in public areas. In order to provide complete security, we need both communication security and physical security. Accordingly, we performed a fundamental study on environment designs targeting the secure handling of personal data in public spaces. In this paper, we showed the result of enquete to get the consciousness of handling personal information for the Internet user. From the result, we got the degree of sensitiveness of general-purpose personal information on actual public space.
