| 抄録(和) | 本論文では、ダイポールアンテナと微小ループアンテナを直交配置した直交ループダイポールアンテナをボアホールレーダシステムへ導入する。これにより、著者が従来から開発してきた光変調器を用いたボアホールレーダシステムで偏波状態の推定も可能になる。坑井内に直交ループダイポールアンテナを配置し、この坑井の外から既知の偏波状態の電磁波を入射したところ、直交ループダイポールアンテナからの出力信号は偏波状態をよく反映していた。さらに、本アンテナを用いたフィールド実験を花崗岩中で行った。直交ループダイポールアンテナを受信アンテナとして、送信アンテナを同一坑井に挿入した。各アンテナでの受信波を用いて開口合成処理を行ったところ、媒質の異方性が存在する深度では、断層やき裂のイメージ結果がダイポールアンテナとループアンテナとでは著しく異なることがわかった。また、異方性が存在しない深度では、両アンテナでは同様なイメージ結果となった。以上の結果は直交ループダイポールアンテナが電磁波の偏波状態の情報を取得できていることを示す。 |
| 抄録(英) | In this paper, we will introduce a cocentered orthogonal loop and dipole antenna (COLD) to a borehole radar system. We have already developed directional borehole radar using optical modulators. With the cocentered orthogonal loop and dipole antenna, we could obtain additional information on polarization state of arrival waves in the borehole radar using the optical modulators. We set the proposed antenna in a borehole actually, and made electromagnetic waves with known polarization state incident on the antenna. In this experiment, we found that output signals from the antenna correspond to the polarization state. In order to investigate validity of the antenna in actual measurement, we conducted a field experiments in granite with antenna. We set the antenna and a transmitting antenna in the same borehole, and carried out single-hole measurement. Synthetic aperture processed data showed that the two antennas gave completely different images in anisotropic media. Furthermore we found that the two gave the almost same image in isotropic media. These imply that we can obtain polarimetric information with the cocentered orthogonal loop and dipole antenna. |
