Detection of Ringing Distortion in Encoded Image by Wavelet Transform

Abstract(in English) The image which are encoded by the wavelet transform coding such as JPEG2000 have ringing distortion. It is important to examine the position of ringing distortion to remove it from encoded images. In this paper, we have re-analysis handling to encoded image, examine the position of ringing distortion in each subband signal. In addition, we evaluate to compare position of ringing distortion by our system and by information of original image. Finally, the results show that detected position of big ringing distortion.
