Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose a new technique for separating the nucleation process and the wall movement process in periodical poling of non-doped congruent LiNbO_3. The selective nucleation process, which produces high nucleation density, is followed by the wall movement process, leading to high uniformity of a periodical poled structure. This technique can be applied to domain patterning in other ferroelectrics, and can be a breakthrough for fabricating short-period quasi-phase matched devices. |
