Abstract(in English) | 2 ports series mode scattering parameters of active devices have now been commercially presented in its data sheets. However about passive devices, some cooperation are providing 1 port scattering parameters or 2 ports series or shunt mode scattering parameters in the data sheet while some are not providing any scattering parameters. This report proposed that evaluating passive devices by 2 ports series mode scattering parameters like evaluating active devices and presented the methods of analyzing characters of its circuit, where the transmission line components are also expressed by scattering parameters. This analyzing method uses only scattering parameters, so it is called all scattering parameters analyzing method. Finally, on the frequency range of 0.05~18GHz, we calculated broadband amplifier characteristics and the computed theoretical results are compared with experimental results. |
