Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have demonstrated all optical synchronous de-multiplexing from ultra-high speed OTDM optical signal, by adopting injection mode-locked LD (MLLD) for sub-harmonic optical clock recovery to supply control optical pulses to Symmetric Mach- Zehnder (SMZ) all optical switch. We confirmed the proof of principle experiment at 40 Gb/s after optical fiber transmission and bit error rate (BER) measurement at base-rate 10 Gb/s after synchronous optical demultiplexing. Furthermore, optical sampling at 80 Gb/s OTDM signal after the fiber transmission line has also demonstrated.
