Abstract(in English) 5GHz-band wireless access systems, such as the RLAN (Radio Local Area Network) system of IEEE802. 11 a, HiSWANa and AWA(Advanced Wireless Access) have been developed. It is necessary to examine propagation characteristics and clarify parameters for radio zone design. This paper presents the results of theoretical and experimental studies on the propagation characteristics for broadband wireless access systems in an underground shopping area.
