Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) OFDM systems are known to outperform single carrier systems in a multipath environment. However the performance of OFDM systems suffer from serious degradation due to multipath waves with delay times longer than guard interval. To combat this problem, many kinds of adaptive array antenna systems have been proposed which suppress the unwanted waves. This paper proposes the MMSE adaptive array antenna for fixed reception in the OFDM systems. This adaptive antenna utilizes the structure of guard interval of OFDM and suppresses only the unwanted multipath waves with delay times longer than guard interval. Results of computer simulation show good performance of the proposed algorithm in suppressing the unwanted waves.
