Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Hough Transformation is an effective method to detect the ship wakes form SAR images. However, it is a significant problem that the deterioration of detection is caused by the geometrical distortion and quantization error on the ρ-θ plain which is generated by the Hough Transformation. To improve the problem, we propose the method to reduce the geometrical distortion by circularizing an image and applying the Rough Transformation to it. Moreover we evaluate the improvement using the simulated image of ship wakes and seaclutter, and show the effectiveness when applying to the actual SAR image.
