Abstract(in English) | This paper describes how to decide optimal operating term minimizing expected life cycle cost when a part of a system is reused. A system has two kinds of failure, i.e., a fatal failure and a non-fatal, repairable failure. If the system has not failed in fatal at the end of operating term, a profit is gained from reusable components. The profit is decreasing function of time. We propose two maintenance models. It is shown that there exits the optimal operating term under reasonable conditions Furthermore, numerical analysis is carried out to show the validity of our models. |
