A proposal of estimating quality of experience in stream media

Abstract(in English) There is a possibility that Quality of Experience (QoE) in stream media will be affected by delay or changing network bandwidth. So estimating QoE can be an effective measure for stream media with an admission or network control. We propose the SQM (Stream Quality Management) system for estimating QoE. The SQM mechanism is as follows. First, the SQM capture control messages, which are required for resend or changing user distribution quality from client to server. Next, it analyzes these messages for QoE. This mechanism also can apply to get information where is the top-rated scene in the contents.
