Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) ALM (Application-layer Multicast) is a streaming distribution paradigm where not routers but end hosts manage multicast tree by duplicating and forwarding data to next hosts. Our goal is to develop Relay-Cast, a middleware which offers ALM functions as API. RelayCast meets the fundamental demands from various applications. In this paper, we show a middleware architecture and functional components for RelayCast.
