| 抄録(和) | 近い将来のブロードバンドユーザの大幅な拡大、および、セキュリティやQoS保証という新たな要求に応えるため、次世代ネットワーク(Next-Generation Network : NGN)の検討が世界的に進んでいる。ITU-Tでは、このような世界的な要求に応えるため、2003年7月からNGNの標準化活動を開始し、昨年5月からはFGNGN (Focus Group on NGN)を組織し検討を加速している。現在、FGNGNの活動が1年を経過し、いくつかのアウトプットが完成されつつある状況にある。本稿では、ITU-TにおけるNGNの標準化動向について示し、FGNGNでの検討結果について詳述する。 |
| 抄録(英) | A new network architecture is needed to support the huge expansion of broadband Internet users expected in the near future, as well as meet new demands in areas such as security and quality of service. For this purpose, study of the Next-Generation Network (NGN) is being undertaken around the world. In order to meet the urgent global demand for the NGN, the ITU-T began NGN standardization activities in July 2003, and has organized the FGNGN (Focus Group on NGN) to accelerate its study. At this point in time, the activities of FGNGN have been underway for over a year, and FGNGN is about to complete a few deliverables. This paper describes the trends of NGN standardization activities in ITU-T, and also describes the detailed results of FGNGN's work. |
