Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposed a novel beam-forming technique for an onboard large-scale phased array feed system. Proposed technique reduces the number of phase control circuit with almost same antenna characteristics. To reduce the number of phase control circuit, a sub-array control type is available. However, phase errors are proportional to steering angle. In the sub-array type, as the steering angle increases, the antenna pattern worsens. Proposed technique solves these problems of the sub-array type by addition of few passive circuits. We calculate radiation patterns of rectangular and triangular grid array antennas generated by the proposed technique. The validity of the proposed technique is shown from these simulations.
