Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | A folding parabola antenna for the portable earth stations of satellite communications using S-band is proposed. It is necessary for the high data rate satellite communication using low power terminals and/or measure of satellite antenna properties to use the high gain antenna. The reflector of this proposed antenna is assembled with flat facets to fold and carry it simply. The experimental model of this antenna with a diameter of 70cm has a gain of 21dBi at 2.5GHz. |
