Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Mismatches between jobs and human resources are significant under the rapid advancement in infonnation technology and drastic changes in business environments. This leads to a variety of social problems such as a lack of motivation of employees, an increase in separation rate and so forth. In order to respond to the problems, many companies have adopted the results-based payment system, but as for the personnel management, they still depend on their business instinct and past experience. Now, however, much attention is being paid to the idea competency, an ability to produce employees' behaviors directly connected to the desirable results. We propose a competency model for resolving mismatches between jobs and human resources by applying data mining technologies to personnel management.
