Processing Multiple Requirements to Integrate Dissemination-based Information Sources

Abstract(in English) Integration of dissemination-based information sources has become an important research issue. We have been developing an information integration system which employs ECA rules to enable active processing required to achieve the goal. In this paper, we discuss schemes to efficiently process multiple information integration and delivery requirements. Key ideas are (1) use of the publish/subscribe paradigm for matching events with relevant rules and (2) sharing common operations and their results among multiple integration processings.
