| Abstract(in English) | This paper shows a definition on cognitive radio. Based on the definition, a new categorization on radio equipments is introduced. The relationship between software radio and cognitive radio and the difference between new generation mobile network and the mobile network based on cognitive radio are moreover clarified. Then, the items for research and development and applications of cognitive radio are summarized. |
