Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we take notice of the cognitive radio, which reconfigures the device of the radio transceiver according to the surrounding environment recognized by its self. Here, we introduce a concept of an ad-hoc cognitive radio in which the frequency sharing system is realized with existing communication system cooperated with operations of MAC layer. Here, we discuss the cognitive method of the surrounding communication environment and focus on the distributed interference recognition method in its own terminal cooperative with the media access protocols. In this paper, we present two examples of the ad-hoc cognitive radio. At first, we propose a multi-hop system, which autonomously avoids the interference source transmitted from the source terminal to the destination terminal. Next, we introduce the frequency sharing system by using an adaptive array antenna in the terminal and the interference to the surrounding terminals are removed by null steering before the transmission of the data.
