Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A Multi-Input, Multi-Output Software Defined Radio (MIMO-SDR) transceiver is developed for the purpose of the research and development of future MIMO communication systems. A variety of MIMO systems can be implemented on the MIMO-SDR by rewriting the baseband physical-layer softwares running on the FPGAs and DPSs and upper-layer software running on the CPU. Since the developed MIMO-SDR has obtained an experimental radio license at 5GHz band in Japan, it is ready for measurements of the MIMO systems in the real environment. Furthermore a radio security manager is implemented as a hardware driver of the MIMO-SDR to realize secure software management architecture. It enables us the secure software download, authentication, installation, and execution management to prevent the illegal radio emission.
