Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The adaptive impedance matching system(AIMS) is applied to a receiving path of mobile systems. Received power is evaluated between receiving antenna systems with and without AIMS. The experiment is conducted in a typical laboratory environment. A metallic object is placed near the receiving antenna and it is moved to simulate the effect of a human body or a nearby object, while the transmitting antenna and the receiving antenna are fixed. Cumulative distribution function (CDF) of the received power is studied to estimate the performance of the AIMS. As a result, in cases of small received power (less than about -55dBm) the received power is increased by more than 1.5dB with use of the AIMS.
