| 抄録(和) | 本稿では, 複数システムに対応したSoftware Defined Radio (SDR)端末の, アプリケーションのリアルタイム性に応じたシステムと通信モードの選択法に関する検討を行う.SDR端末が実行するアプリケーションがリアルタイム性を有する場合, 通信路状態の変動に伴う頻繁なシステム間ハンドオーバーは, 通信の瞬断を引き起こし, リアルタイムトラフィックの通信品質を劣化させる.一方, SDR端末が実行するアプリケーションがリアルタイム性を有しない(非リアルタイムアプリケーション)場合, システム間ハンドオーバーが頻発しても高伝送レートの通信モードを有するシステムを選択する機会が多い場合には, トータルのスループットが増加する可能性がある.したがって, SDR端末が実行するアプリケーションがリアルタイム性を有する場合は, システム間ハンドオーバーが頻発しないよう, 同一システム内の通信モードの切換えを行い, 非リアルタイムの場合は, システム間ハンドオーバーを含めたシステム/通信モードの切換えを行うことにより, ネットワーク全体の通信効率を高めることができると考えられる.システム間ハンドオーバーの回数や非リアルタイムトラフィックのスループット特性など, SDR端末の諸特性について計算機シミュレーションによる評価を行い, 提案方式の有効性を示す. |
| 抄録(英) | In this manuscript, a system/transmission mode selection algorithm based on real-time property of applications for SDR terminal is studied. In the case that an application executed by SDR terminal has real-time property, frequent inter-system handovers caused by fluctuation of channel quality inflict disconnection of communication, and degrade the channel quality of real-time traffic. On the other hand, in the case that an application executed by SDR terminal has non real-time property, if inter-system handovers occur frequently and if a system having a transmission mode with higher data rate is selected by SDR terminal, then high throughput might be achieved. Therefore, in the case that an application has real-time property, SDR terminal should select transmission mode within the system so as not to occur frequent inter-system handovers. On the other hand, in the case that an application has non real-time property, SDR terminal should select system/transmission mode among plural systems. By adopting the proposed algorithm, the efficiency of whole network may be improved. The computer simulation is performed to evaluate the characteristics of the SDR terminal such as number of inter-system handovers and the throughput of non real-time traffic and then shows the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
