Abstract(in English) | For future mobile services, the development of "band-free radio frequency circuits" is expected to operate among different wireless communication standards and spectra. As a part of research on the band-free radio frequency circuits, this paper presents a newly developed prototype 900 MHz/1900 MHz dual-band power amplifier using MEMS switches. The operation band of the power amplifier can be easily changed by controlling ON/OFF status of the MEMS switches. The developed dual-band power amplifier achieves over 60% of the maximum power-added efficiency with an output power for each band exceeding 30 dBm. |
