Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) IP traceback is a technique to find the true sources of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack. In this paper, we focus on Passive Detection Packet (PDP) method of IP traceback. There is a trade-off between the amount of trace traffic and the time to detect the attacking route with using PDP method. But no analysis is made yet. We mathatically analyze this trade-off with a model which consider an AS as a node for inter-domain route re-composition.
