Traffic flow Simulation Based on Driver's Model of Decision Making

Abstract(in English) An information offering system in a highway attracts attention as an effective method of course instruction to driver for a current traffic jam problem. However, when the effect of the course instruction by the information offering is evaluated from actual data such as driver's behavior, it is difficult to acquire the behavior data of an actual driver. Therefore, a system which virtually evaluates the effect is needed. Then, the computer simulation is used before any method of inducing the route is introduced into an actual road. In order to evaluate the effect virtually, the driver model to imitate the behavior of the driver on the simulation is needed .In the article, we propose a driver model for the evaluation of the effect of the information given to a driver. In this article, we simulated the effect of the road information on virtual drivers. The driver model is roughly divided into the action model and the course learning model. We focus on driver's visual information, as the action model. We focus on Reinforcement Learning as the course learning model. We constructed a simulation in which the drivers selected one route from among two or more routes. We intend to integrate the driver model by integrating these two models.
