Abstract(in English) Recently, Linear Optical Amplifier (LOA) have been developed as an optical amplifier for DWDM which has linear amplification characteristics and attract considerable attention. In addition, it was reported that adjacent channel cross talk which came from the gain fluctuation was very low in LOA amplification. However, cross talk which brought by nonlinear effect has not been investigated yet. In this letter, we observed the third order nonlinear effect in LOA amplification and evaluate the resulting cross talk.
