Abstract(in English) This paper investigates by laboratory experiments the inte-cell site diversity effect in coherent adaptive antenna array diversity (CAAAD) receiver in the reverese link. First, the experimental results elucidate the fast convergence property of receiver antenna weights of the target cell site by employing the proposed method at the beginning of the inter-cell site diversity, in which the target E_b/I_O in the fast transmission power control (TPC) of an original cell site is increased by approximately several decibels compared to the value satifaying the required block error rate (BLER) at the beginning of inter-cell site diversity. Furthermore, it is clarified that by using inter-cell site diversity, the required average transmit E_b/N_O of a user equipment using CAAAD receiver at the average BLER of 10^<-2> is reduced by approximately 2.5 dB compared to that with one-cell site connection in the slow maximum Doppler frequency environments such as f_D = 5Hz, assuming average path loss difference between a user equipment and 2 cell sites is 0 dB.
