Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Mathematical modeling and simulation of the cellular systems are now essential in biological researches. However, computer systems with much higher throughput are required since modern high-performance systems can't provide enough throughput on these problems. ReCSiP is an FPGA-based biochemical simulator, which achieves high throughput by statically scheduled deep pipelines. In this research report, the implementation of numerical integration module based on Heun's method, which is more stable than Euler's method. As the result, the new integration module achieved almost same area and frequency than the previous implementation based on Euler's method.
