Abstract(in English) | Reconfigurabe system can be a high-performance solution in biological simulations. In this research report, the stochastic simulation algorithm proposed by Gibson is implemented on a Xilinx Virtex-IIPRO. The implemented simulator module includes heap-tree using Dualport BlockRAM and deep pipelined floating-point arithmetic units. And it outperforms the software implementation on Dual Xeon 2.4GHz by 17.1 times. |
