Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a peak power reduction scheme combined with a parial non-power allocation (PNPA) for OFDM with subcarrier transmit power control to reduce peak power due to multicarrier modulation. In the proposed system, carrier-holes are made by applying the PNPA in which no transmit power allocated to subcarriers with lower received E_b/N_O, and a peak reduction carriers with inverse phase to the peak of multicarrier signal are generated by using carrier-holes to reduce peak power. Computer simulation confirms that proposed scheme can reduce peak power while keeping the same information bit-rate with conventional OFDM systems with subcarrier transmit power control.
