Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The ubiquitous antenna system, which is composed of multiple base stations deployed over service area and connected to control station with Radio-on-Fiber Link, perform a co-channel interference cancellation and achieve the Space Division Multiple Access since all the RF signals transmitted from mobile terminals are corrected to the CS with keeping their RF signal from. Hence, the system makes multiple mobile terminals to operate at the same frequency cannel simultaneously. The CS, however, has to estimate the channel frequency response including the delay in radio propagation path and ROF Link for each of many terminals in order to perform the co-channel interference cancellation. This paper proposes channel estimation schemes using pilot symbol and sub-carriers which are multiplexed by time slot, subchannel, and code. Computer simulation results shows the BER and throughput performance of the proposed schemes.
