Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) At present, the broad-band IP transfer service for which xDSL and CATV were used will be being popularized, and it will be expecting that a demand for the speed-up rise more from now on by the development of the information electric household appliances and the digitization of the image. We are doing the development of the high capacity optical access network that realizes the superior IP transfer service of a speed 100Mbps and more. As for the user traffic, division of a class is given based on that traffic type and the amount of traffic in the access switch. A transfer is scheduled in the class unit, and a scheduler provides QoS distinguished by every class for the subscriber. In this paper, we show the validity of the two-dimensional mesh connected switching method that can secure scalability of the number of circuits and the switch capacity and a proposal scheduler is effective in the access network.
