Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Various researches on ad-hoc networks have assumed that a terminal perfectly communicates terminals within a certain distance, and that the terminal never interferes with terminals outside the distance. However, because of shadowing effect, ad-hoc terminals that may have a low-antenna height do not always connect each other even they are in the close vicinity. In this report, path-loss variation due to movements of ad-hoc terminals in shadowing environments are obtained using ray tracing with various indoor and outdoor layouts, and connection probabilities between ad-hoc terminals are evaluated.
