| Abstract(in English) | This article gives a summary report on the algorithm contest titled "Detecting Intruders", which is sponsored by PRMU(Pattern Recognition and Media Understanding) Technical Group of IEICE-ISS, together with brief overviews of prize-winning algorithms provided by the winners. The contest in this year asked for the algorithms that extract object regions from images by background subtraction. The number of algorithms applied for the contest reached a record 55, and 6 algorithms among them have winned the prizes. |
