Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is well known that the impressions of photographic images are affected by their aspect-ratios and/or sizes though their sceneries and their sizes are just the same. The special concern in this study was whether the aspect-ratios and the sizes of the frame surrounding the images might affect the impressions or not. In the experiment, varying in both the size of images themselves and the size of frames, several kinds of impressions of photographic images were evaluated by 7-point scale. Results showed that the impressions changed in dependence on the relation between the images and their frames.
