Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper provides a method to estimate the number of targets in MUSIC (___-ltiple ___-gnal C__-lassification) angle measurement method under the bad condition, for example, under remarkable low SNR, specific relative position or strength of signal from targets. To estimate the number of targets correctly is necessary to measure angle of targets in good accuracy and prevent from ghost images generation in MUSIC angle measurement method. Because in this method, the number of targets is first estimated based on the eigenvalue of the signal correlation matrix, and next, angle measurements are calculated. Then, we propose and evaluate a method to estimate the number of targets using tracking information by computer simulation in this paper. It was shown to be able to estimate the number of targets by the proposal method in the simulation.
