Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the interferometric synthetic aperture radar, the terrain elevation is derived from the interferogram that is made from two complex SAR images obtained at different antenna position. The accuracy of estimated DEM (Digital Elevation Model) depends on the phase error in the interferogram and the accuracy of the InSAR processing algorithms, such as phase-unwrapping and geometrical correction. The simulated interferogram is useful for evaluation of accuracy of the algorithms. Thus, we develop InSAR image simulator by extending the previously proposed SAR image simulator. This paper shows the algorithm of the simulator and some simulation results.
